As you see our heroine in this book is too good to be true, but believe it or not shes the best heroine I have the honor to read. Kayla Sinclair is the most humble person you'll meet and she's the friend that you hold for dear life!
Back to the book... Holy shit balls!! If you're not reading this book right now you're missing out. This is Dangerous by Kennedy Fox is a second-chance romance and I haven't read any other author that writes a second-chance better than this duo of authors.
Kayla has become one of my favorite heroines Kennedy Fox has ever written. Don't get me wrong I love the other two Viola and Courtney but Kayla is different. Different in the perspective that she's been in foster care the majority of her life, fending for herself you must think "Oh she's going to turn bad because of her outgoing in life" but no she overcome that saying and became the person she is right now. She's sweet, caring, lovable, passionate, and humble that doesn't ask for much in return just for Love, a real Friendship, Dogs, and Sprinkle Doughnuts!!
Logan Knight (swoons) he's a total sweetheart with a big heart but hard as steel. Although he will make you cursed his name many times throughout the book, because he doesn't just give in the attraction between both of them. You'll eventually fall head over heels for him because you get to learn the real Logan. He'll make you swoon your ass off, get your panties wet, and make your ovaries explode with that dirty mouth and wild sex.
"I may be a hard ass at my job, but I'm nothing short of a gentleman in the bedroom. I won't do anything you don't give me permission to do. So tell me," he demands, his voice on edge.
I like how this book is well written, the authors took the time to plot everything, and make you visualize everything in your head as is if you were right there with the characters. Every turn of the page you'll learn a new fact about the characters.
Overall I absolutely Love this book. this book is a first in a duet so there's a major CLIFFHANGER that will make you think twice about what does this author have in store for us. I can't fucking wait!! Kayla is obsessed with sprinkle doughnuts I mean who wouldn't right? They're fucking DELICIOUS! Logan Knight can easily be called a knight in shining armor always in the rescue saving Kayla in her crazy escapades.
Both characters have secrets one bigger than the other, would they be able to overcome it and be on top of their Love? Or will their secrets be enough to ruin this perfect relationship?
